VOL. BAYB0I10. 3 In Memoriam. (Written for the Sentinel.) Oh My God, why is it so, That one so bright and jpungv tihoald from' oar uuidst. be called to go, And to higher realms be borne ? A life bo blest and cherished Yields to death's cruel call; Earthly plea?ur. s now have perished, Bat the saimnoas comes to all. We would not p irt with him, In his early manhood days, Butcling to that glowing beam For it's precious soothing rays. , Oar hearts ail seem to overflow, When we cling to ttis parting hand;. His place with U3 id vacant now, While he rests iu a happier land. The night was bright. When he passed away, Looking ho handsoin , brave and grand ; His manly form must now decay.J But, there'n one more voice in the An gel's band, Rufns, we will mi-s ou, in oar circle ; When V3 nicer,-; . . 3?or your happy fae is now ; . It seems to ua that if tbe lessee company expscts much from this property they - must run it upon such plain practical . buiness principles as will tend to build up this whole section of the country Not a few but the many business.and iLdustries in this section. So lon as. they run it upon pur-ly. buni. ness principles. We can see no cause to complain every saccessinlbusiues' man has to do the same in his business and we ought not to complain of olhtrs for doing that which we do ourselvts. Tht-re is a little piece of Scriptuae that alight tit in just here, but as w art not tal'sing scripture but business ve will noi quote it. Oor opinion is that we ought not to couiplaia and kick too hur ridly, watch and wait, give tiuv for re sults. As a citizen of Pamlico county, we favor the lease and no does .nearly every ot!er cttizau of the cenntv. We think the Legislature oujfht lu eeufirm it. : Baby Born'With Tail Eraosvile Ind., Jan. 18.
